(1) Don't sell in the article - tell.
Give lots of generic value. So, how do you attract people to your website if you are not selling?

(2) Strategic Content:

You can write with your target audiendce in mind, you ues keyword phrases, and this means focusing on what's important to them, as opposed to what you think is most interesting about your product or service! i.e. if you are writing about homebased business. Make sure you put 4 to 5 keywords througout your article. so when people type keywords "homebased business, telcommuting, work at home, discount plans, your article shows up high in the search engine. When choosing keyword phrases, think about the marketing language that your targetmarket speaks. Not your own language!

INCLUDE MORE KEYWORDS- BUT DON'T OVERDO IT
The first and foremost thing to be taken into consideration while writing an article which has to be submitted in the Internet is to make sure that there are enough keywords and phrases to link the article to your website and to show up in the search results. The use of keyword suggestions tools comes handy for this. A 2-4% ratio of keywords is good to occur in an article. That means that, if you are writing an article of 500 words, try to have your keyword appear at least 8 to 10 times. Keywords are the keys that open the gates for the traffic to enter your website. The more keywords you include in the article, the higher it will show up in the search engine results. However, �too much of anything is good for nothing� and so, if you use your keywords too much, than your article will be viewed as spam.

AVOID KEYWORD STUFFING
An article, loaded with excess keywords is called a keyword stuffed article. Keyword stuffing was used in the past to obtain maximum search engine ranking and visibility for particular phrases. This method is completely outdated and adds no value to rankings today. In particular, Google no longer gives good rankings to pages employing this technique. For example if your article has 500 words and out of it 250 words are keywords then search engines will flag this and that article may be banned too. Based on a reader�s point of view, when you are stuffing your article with the keywords, your article will become more difficult to read. For example, if the article is based on the early detection and prevention of diabetes, a sentence stuffed with the keywords �BMW, parts� will look like, �BMW performance parts are very much essential for your BMW to tweak the performance of the existing parts of the BMW car�. This sentence will definitely confuse the readers. Instead, the sentence �To tweak the performance of you BMW use the additional performance parts� will be more meaningful. Remember that the recommended keywords density is 4-8%.

(3) Volume is the key.
More articles means more inbound links, higher page ranking, more traffic, and more leads! You can easily augment the number of your copies by writing short articles and by focusing your energy on topics that you know very well. We recommend submitting at least 4 articles a month.

(4) Proof read your article very well.
Once you submit an article it stays up on the internet. You can't go back and make changes. Spelling mistakes and grammatical errors will destroy the professionalism of the article. An article that is not proof read is a complete waste of time and resource. Once you have completed writing the article, preview the same. Add quotes to spice up the article if needed. Tie any loose ends. Edit the article till you get totally satisfied.

(5) Good titles are a must
The title is the part which makes the first impression of the article. The title should have the ability to hold the readers and make them read the rest of the article. Experts believe that, if you spend one hour in writing the article, you must spend the same time in thinking about the title. The readers must be able to get a rough picture about the article by seeing the title itself. Always write titles for humans and not for the search engine robots. In the mean time, lemme tell you that it is possible to tweak the keywords without reducing the quality of the title.

THE IDEAL TITLE:
Take time in providing a suitable, appropriate and catchy title. Most people will not read the article if the title is drab or boring. Making the title short is always a good practice. Most of the search engines give high relevance to the first few words used in the title. The ideal length of the title is 6-8 words. The search engines display only upto 8-10 words in the search engine results.

A direct challenge. Now read the headline back, eliminating the vital word "these." This word is the "hook" that almost forces you into the article. "What are these particular mistakes? Do I make them?

Are you ever tongue-tied at a party?
Pinpoints an emotional hot button. "That's me! I want to read this ad; maybe it tells me exactly what to do about it."

Advice to wives whose husbands dont' save money --by a wife
The strength of th word "advice" has often been proven. Most people want it, regardless of whether or not they follow it. The "it happened to me" tag line, "by a wife", increases the desire to read the article.
